It's the textiest time of the year. The time for those who love interactive fiction (or text adventures) to gather around monitors, play, discuss and judge the latest Interactive Fiction Competition entries. The 2015 IF Comp, you see, has opened its gates and everyone is invited to partake in the many joys and exquisite pleasures of text based gaming. Of parsers and CYOAs.

As for me, well, I've only scratched the surface, but can so far suggest clever '50s sci-fi horror Brain Guzzlers from Beyond!, brilliant dungeon crawler TOMBs of Reschette, puzzle box Grandma Bethlinda's Variety Box and the beautifully illustrated Capsule II.
