Malice, mischief, money - that's what digital board game Gremlins, Inc. is all about. It left early access a few months ago, but those crafty little gremlins and industrious devs at Charlie Oscar have been busy in the meantime. Automated Competitors, the second DLC for the game, has just been released, together with a big patch for all players. While the new purchasable content offers merely cosmetic changes - more character portraits, emoticons, new insults friendly messages to hurl at the competition, and some other neat stuff - the patch is a game changer indeed. It introduces special skills for all the different gremlins, which allow you to, for instance, make extra money as merchant, or pick your rivals' pockets as thief. Sneaky!
This ought to shake up the already pretty dynamic game mechanics some more and bring extra longevity to Clockwork Town. It's good to see a greater cast of characters, too. The new automaton portraits are the perfect addition to the roster. Currently, there's always a bunch of online games going on, so now's a good time to jump in and be the best at being the worst, meanest, greediest little gremlin you can possibly be. Oh, and Gremlins, Inc. is 20% off until next Thursday.
Gremlins, Inc. is currently available for $11.99 on Steam. For more information on the game and developer Charlie Oscar, you can head to the game's website or follow them on Twitter.
