Crawl is a local multiplayer dungeon crawler, one where one player gets to be the hero and the other three play ghosts who can control traps, monsters, and bosses. Now out of Early Access, players will get the definitive experience of beating on each other in a fast-paced battle to see who can be the hero and for how long.

Players will find themselves dumped into a randomly-generated dungeon, with one member of the group playing a hero while the others become free-floating ghosts. The hero will have to gain experience, kill creatures, acquire gold for items, and find new gear - preferably in a hurry. This is because the ghosts can inhabit any of the traps in a room, using them to attack the player in several ways, or they can hop into a summoning circle and use energies they collect to bring monsters to life.

There are over sixty available monsters in the game, and as the hero levels up, so will the ghosts, each growing in power which gives them access to stronger beasts. Should one of those monsters land that last hit on the hero, that ghost will take over being the hero, having to deal with their jealous fellow ghosts AND the irate player they just killed. This pressure can get even worse during boss battles, where three characters will all be controlling various parts of the boss, launching three powerful attacks all at the same time. It makes for some real mayhem and frantic fun - definitely something that will keep drawing you back.

You CAN play it single player with bots and challenge, but it's that casual, friendly anger Crawl builds up among friends that makes it special. So, if your buddies need something to bicker over, a little hostile dungeon crawling should do the trick.Just don't get mad when you all screw up and accidentally loose cosmic evil on the world due to your in-fighting.

Crawl is available for $14.99 on Steam. For more information on the game and developer Powerhoof, you can head to the developer's site, the game's site, or follow them on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.
