From the developer: "In a land far, far away lives a brave young girl called Anna. She lives a peaceful life in the forest with her grandfather, until a mysterious illness befalls him. Dad By The Sword
Windows, Mac, Linux | $20 | Late 2015/Early 2016
This game looks like it's going to be an excellent first-person sword fighting game. The trailer itself is also just fantastic.
Hue Ball
iOS | Free ($2 ad removal) | Available now
From developer Unept: "Hue Ball is a chill-yet-challenging tap-to-shoot game with an intriguing mix of pinball, shuffle board, and bubble shooters. Also colors. And skulls."
Legends of Fire & Steel
Windows, Mac, Tablets | $15+ | November 2015 | Kickstarter
From developer Boomzap Entertainment: "Legends of Fire & Steel is a strategy game designed... [to have] the feel of a large, epic strategy game like Civilization, Crusader Kings 2, or Heroes of Might and Magic, but with the shorter playtime and simple controls of a game like Risk, Lux, or FTL. A game that is easy to learn, fast to play, but which offers enough choice to make it interesting to play over and over again."
Nantucket
Windows | $TBA | Sometime 2015
From developer Picaresque Studio: "Set a few years after the story of Herman Melville's Moby Dick, Nantucket is a seafaring strategy game that thrusts players into the tortured life of Ishmael as he comes to grips with being the sole survivor of both the wreck of the Pequod and the wrath of Ahab. Players will have to explore the seven seas, manage their ship and crew, hunt whales and immerse in a living world, dealing with hundreds of unique events."
