Mason Lindroth, creator of Journalière, Weird Egg & Crushing Finger, and others, is back with a bizarre project called Hylics.
The people and places in Hylics have the pliable, crumpled quality of half-molded clay, multicolored dough rolled up into vaguely humanoid shapes, tubes, plants, creatures. Lindroth has used claymation in previous games and the technique looks excellent here.
Hylics makes use of "light JRPG elements" and random text to create moments like: throwing a frozen burrito at a cone cultist. Or casting mystic meat. Among other things. Check out its trailer below for more.
