Halloween party ideas 2015

G30 is a lovely game that takes kaleidoscope-esque puzzles and uses them to tell memories and stories.

This sleek puzzle game has various colored pieces that lock together to make a picture. As you move them around, the story telling you about this picture changes. When these words change, the story the picture represents has different meaning. Only through finding the right combination of pieces can you see the real story and move onto the next one.

This person the story is talking about has a cognitive disorder, and all of their memories are slowly fading away. You’re attempting to understand and remember the story by putting together various bits of what you can recall, doing so until you can see the true memory.

I took a look at G30 at the Google Play Indie Games Showcase. It’s a delightful game that really drew me in. There is something lovely about the colored pieces of a memory displayed on a black surface with just a few dotted lines around them. Reading the text as it goes through iterations, trying to find exactly what fits into place, adds so much wonder and captivation into the game. If you like puzzles and narrative-based games, G30 is one very worth checking out.

G30 is available now on The App Store and Google Play
