Quickly throwing you straight into the battle, Idle Knight is an idle mobile game that is quite fun to dip in and out of. You are a knight riding on a white horse through a land of monsters and fantasy.
Traveling automatically around the world, you’ll start battling various small monsters. Your character and their team (if you have one) can automatically take on these creatures, but you have three different attacks that you can use to help out. Once you have defeated a bunch of little monsters in the land, you are able to take on a boss by hitting the boss button. This is a much more challenging battle, requiring you to use your three attacks as much as you can to defeat them. You’ll end up getting a few bits of loot and at least one dragon as a reward.
Dragons are a big part of this game. You are able to summon level one dragons and combine them with other level one dragons to make a level two dragon. This then continues until you combine two level ten dragons – then you’ll have a new character.
These characters can be added to your team, fighting alongside you and your dragons. You can level them up, add armor and equipment, and get new attacks for them. There is a limited number of characters you’ll be able to take into your team, much like the limit on dragons you can hold, but it does take a while to fill up your team.
Idle Knight is a very well made, fun idle game, especially when it comes to dipping in to check on your baby dragons. Most of the game is set on timers; wait long enough and more dragons can be summoned, more areas are ready, and your loot chest can be cashed out. After a while, you’ll have a band of knights all ready to take on anything.
