We owe all life on Earth today to the oceans that once covered Pangea. From the microorganisms that reigned to the more complex creatures that inhabit our seas today, the living realms of the oceans are magical and that’s exactly what Carlos Coronado’s Koral has brought to us.
Travel the oceanic depths from the colorful coral reefs to the deep abysses that host life where it was not thought possible. Become a (literal) wave of change as you solve puzzles and learn more about the ocean itself. Put yourself into the sphere that covers 70% of all the surface of this planet.
Collectibles scattered across each level tell you a little snippet about the real oceans. Coronado himself is a scuba diver and calls Koral ‘a love letter to the ocean’. I think it’s rightly fitting, given that one’s appreciation for the natural watery realm would manifest after a round of gameplay. That’s what it did for me, at least.
All that said, you should give Koral a go, as it offers some wonderful information about the ocean as it takes you through the dazzling colors and striking depths of the waters of the Earth.
