The crimes may not be complicated, but getting your detective gator to understand them is going to be a big challenge in Investi-Gator: The Case of the Big Crime.
Your average mystery game will often have you helping a clever cop or detective piece together the clues to figure out which character committed the crime. You’ll have to find clues, collect testimonies, and slowly put together the events of the case. This game turns all of that on its head, instead giving you simple cases that you can put together in a hurry. You might know how these cases turn out, but you’re helping out a detective gator who isn’t that great at figuring these things out.
The crux of the game changes from solving the case to figuring out how to make your inept detective see how these things all tie together. It’s not a matter of solving the case, but rather finding out how to present the evidence to your clumsy gumshoe in a way that they can understand it. The results are quite silly as you help this well-meaning gator find its way to the truth.
Investi-Gator: The Case of the Big Crime is a charming take on mysteries, having you work through a lighthearted case in an unusual way. With a cast of other goofy (and some nefarious) animals able to help or hinder your case, you’ll meet some funny folks as you help your new detective pal out.
