Halloween party ideas 2015

Nimble fingers may come in handy in Pilfer, a game of snatching up things that don’t belong to you.

Drawing inspiration from Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, you will be encouraged to fill your sacks to the brim with others’ possessions to try to earn a top score on the online leader board.

Thief by day (and thief by night), you’ll have to keep an eye on everyone in this small town to keep track of who is where and when. If you want to be the most successful thief, that is.

Breaking-in first involves cracking a lock which a very delicate-don’t-hit-the-sides type maze puzzle. Managing to solve it quickly and quietly will get you in the door and access to goodies. A tally of the dollar amount you’ve stolen will be kept track in the top right as you work your way through the domicile, and a clock in the top left to make sure you’re not caught red handed. Players with a competitive side will be able to check their score against the online high scores to see how they measure up with other thieves. Can you steal it all, or will you have to forfeit your ill-gotten goods?

Pilfer is available on Itch.io. You can also check out the Sokpop Patreon for more Sokpop games.
