Halloween party ideas 2015

You’re brother’s missing in the woods. As you search, you come upon an old house. Is he inside? Or is something else waiting or you there?

Search Party casts you as Claire, the sister of missing eight-year-old Daniel. You’re helping with the search in the Bluebell Woods when you come across a boarded-up house. Wondering whether he could be within, Claire makes her way inside. The cheerful scribbles on the wall that state “This World Ain’t So Happy” and the Missing Child posters that are plastered up everywhere seem to indicate that this was not a smart move.

You’ll need to help Claire navigate the house, finding items that she needs to keep pressing forward in her search for her brother. Managing your inventory will be a big part of the challenge, but doing so while you’re being hunted by a monster within the building will add to it. You don’t have much hope of facing this thing down in a straight fight, so you’ll want to get good at hiding from it when it’s around. If your hide-and-go-seek game is weak, expect to meet a gruesome end within this rickety home.

Search Party draws a bit from Clock Tower and RPG Maker horror games to bring you into a chilling place, then have you juggle a complex task while avoiding being ganked by sickening creatures. It’s a tense experience, but hopefully your nerves will hold out long enough to find your brother.

Search Party is available now by making a donation to the Puppet Combo Patreon.
