Halloween party ideas 2015

Alisa sets out to prove that weird old dolls are way more frightening than zombies with its Resident Evil-inspired horror action.

Alisa is an Elite Royal Agent in the 1920’s, and in her duties she’s chased a wanted criminal into an old Victorian mansion. She would have been much better off just letting the guy wander in and walking away, as the mansion seems to be filled with mechanical dolls that aren’t real keen on letting living things explore their home. These clicking clockwork creatures will stalk you if they come across you in the mansion, and you’ll have to stay away or mow them down with gunfire to stay alive.

The feel is very much like PS1-era horror, offering puzzles to solve and durable enemies to deal with as you seek answers about the mansion. What’s with the dolls? Why did your killer come here? Who chose to dress you up like a tommy-gun toting Alice in a clockwork nightmare Wonderland? The information is all here, if you can handle the constant chases and devious machine puzzles that await in the manor.

Alisa has been shown off at a game meetup according to the game’s Instagram page, and it also sounds like a public demo is in the works for some time in the future. I’m very interested in dodging mechanical dolls sometime soon, even if it does give me horrifying flashbacks of Daniella from Haunting Ground.

Alisa is currently in development, but in the meantime, you can follow its creation on the developer’s site.
