Enjoy an evening spent with the kind of human beings who throw away whole planets in the same way we toss last year’s smart phones.
Even in Arcadia takes you to the grand opening of an all-new planet, Arcadia. It’s been made to be exactly like Earth was before we kind of destroyed it, too. What a treat! Well, as best an approximation as someone who’s obsessed with capital and profit could get it. But I’m sure that’s just the same as finding a naturally-occurring, beautiful world that wasn’t created by people who’s entire life motivation is built around making money.
Even in Arcadia spends a charming evening with several of the people who’ve come to the grand opening of this new world. There are many different stories being told all at once throughout Arcadia, and it’s up to you who you wish to head out. These tales happen in real time, but loop about once an hour, so feel free to meet every one of these wonderful, WONDERFUL people who’ve come out to the new planet.
Even in Arcadia is a scathing look at the destruction being waged across our planet in the interest of increasing the gargantuan profits of the various billionaires who are devouring the very soil beneath our feet. It’s a powerful work that seems absurd in its premise, yet something that would absolutely occur if the means were available to the wealthy elite.
Even in Arcadia is available now (for whatever you wish to pay for it) on itch.io.
