Kakatte Koi Yo! lets you fight as felines armed with any fish they can get their paws on. Offering multiple win objectives, you will feel the pressure in this competitive and cute game.
You will be able to choose between 1v1 or 2v2 modes in this competitive co-op game. Your first task, aside from picking your adorable fur-sona, is to get yourself a fish. To do this, you’ll have to locate some water and use your swift paws (and good timing skills) to scoop up your weapon. Now that you’re armed, it’s time to move on with how you’d like to take down your opponent.
There are three different objectives to keep in mind while you dash from platform to platform. First, the instant win. If you manage to catch your opponent’s shrine unguarded, you can blow it up with a bomb. Unfortunately, it’s not the easiest thing to get away with since the bombs are tricky to move and it’s unlikely your opponent will sit idly-by while you move in for the insta-win.
If you’re foiled, fear not; there are other strategies. Your other goal involves racking up points. You can do this by either dunking your prized fish into your basket or by simply taking up the old tried-and-true method of just beating up your opponent. The first player to cap out their points (either by dunking or brawling) is the winner. If you’re finding yourself on a losing streak, try out the single player mode and sharpen your claws.
Competitive players and cat lovers alike will rejoice at this adorable addition that takes a lot of strategy and quick thinking. You’ll really have to rouse your inner cat to make sure you’re always ready to score points with your fish friend.
