Need to water some crops? Douse some people on fire? Rain acid down on valuable crops. There’s a hat-wearing cloud who’d love to help you out.
Rain on Your Parade lets you help a cloud do its best. Sometimes, that’s a good thing. What if a bunch of people are too hot on a warm day, or they’re so hot that they’re on fire? A little rain water could really raise their spirits. What if the city park doesn’t have any trees in it? A sprinkle could have some new trees budding in no time. You just have to direct your cloud buddy and tell it where to drop some water and you’re in business.
Not every cloud is concerned with helping people, though. You could also drop lightning bolts, tornadoes, flames, or acid rain on people if you want to. These result in some far less nice scenarios where you’ll be chasing farmers away from their crops, ruining said crops with acid, making trouble for dinosaurs who just want a good time, or just dousing a class of kids with water. You are a cloud, and your powers are great, but you can do what you wish with them.
Rain on Your Parade offers many different puzzles or fun sandboxes to use your powers on, letting you bother people or help them out as you see fit, both having silly, fun results. What sort of cloud do you think you’ll be?
Rain on Your Parade is currently in development, but in the meantime, you can add it to your Steam Wishlist.
