Halloween party ideas 2015

I was not aware that ghosts were so utterly afraid of vacuum cleaners until recent years. That explains why hauntings are so prevalent these days.

Dead End Job puts you to work cleaning out ghosts from local restaurants, parks, and other places that really need to be a lot less haunted. To deal with these spooky ice cream cones and other phantoms, you’ll have to shoot them with plasma and then suction up their ectoplasmic forms, sealing your troubles away. There are a lot of ghosts to suck up, though, so you might want to enlist a friend in local co-op (they can drop out at any time, which is nice when you have shifty, unreliable pals).

You’re going to be running into the unexpected as you play through Dead End Job, as the game uses procedurally-generated stages to keep your hauntings fresh. If you want to add even more trouble to your day, there are Twitch and Mixer interactivity options that will let viewers hurt you or help you. And given the helpful nature of people on the internet, I’m totally sure they will do what they can to make sure you are doing well.

If you want to have any hope of saving your mentor, you’ll want to get busy moving around and shooting, as her soul is on the line if you’re lousy at this job. Hopefully you won’t let your woeful lack of qualifications get in the way of getting the job done.

Dead End Job is available now on the Nintendo Switch, Apple Arcade, Xbox One, and Steam.
