We have already declared our love for SanctuaryRPG and I can't help but feel happy to see this unique, bonkers and quite hilarious ASCII RPG grow. Not only has it received countless of updates, but it has finally expanded itself into SanctuaryRPG: Black Edition which is available for early access (Windows) on Steam.
The game retains its ASCII charm and weird humour and remains an excellent rogue-like with clever JRPG influenced combat, but has also become a much bigger and better offering. There are new races to experiment with, new areas to explore, new dungeons to conquer, new monsters to murder, new graphics to, err, look at and new skills to play with. Oh, and quite a bit of new loot too.
What's more, unlike most early access games, SanctuaryRPG: Black Edition is already a fully playable game without any noticeable bugs or omissions. It even comes with a demo for you to try out.
