Three ladies could use a copilot as they work to hose enemies down with bullets, all while gently weaving through complex attacks, in Ghost Blade HD.

Ghost Blade HD stars three different pilots (and their unique ships), having them going up against some sort of well-armed, yet oddly incompetent, threat. Using your unique weapons (and maybe picking a few new ones up along the way), you’ll need to carve your way five stages of metallic menaces and big bosses. Nothing a few ladies on a road trip together can’t handle.

The drag is, someone is always going to the the third wheel and get left out. The game features a local co-op mode, but that means one friend is always left behind. That’s a sad story in and of itself. Someone is going to be pretty upset in the group chat once you two get back from the edges of space.

Ghost Blade HD features three difficulty levels to suit your desire to be shot at, a couple of game modes for you to fiddle around with, and global leaderboards so you can show off how good you are at dodging bullets and plugging machines. Should be a good time, although you really ought to find a way to bring that third friend along for the ride. You’ve been friends forever, and letting an alien threat get in the way of your relationship with them is just an awful thing to do.

Seorang ahli perniagaan warga China memberitahu Mahkamah Tinggi George Town bahawa beliau membayar sebanyak RM400,000 untuk memiliki pasport dan MyKad warga Malaysia.

Wang De Qun, 58, berkata dia bersetuju dengan pembayaran tersebut dan mahu membuat pasport warganegara Malaysia bagi tujuan pelaburan serta memudahkannya untuk menjalankan urusan perniagaan di negara ini.

"Saya mahu memiliki pasport yang sah di sisi undang-undang di negara ini bagi memudahkan saya menjalankan urusan perniagaan kerana jika tiada, saya mempunyai banyak sekatan dan masalah untuk ke Malaysia," kata saksi pendakwaan itu pada prosiding deposisi kes enam individu yang berdepan pertuduhan mengeluar dan menjual sijil kelahiran serta kad pengenalan secara tidak sah kepada warga asing.

Individu berkenaan ialah Penolong Pengarah Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara (JPN) Pulau Pinang, Mohd Faizul Arifin, 34; Mohd Faizal Tan Abdullah, 66; Yap Cheng Wah, 43; Loh Chan Cheong, 34; Chien Guan Chai, 36, dan ahli perniagaan Lai Chin Wah, 56.

Iklan Wang yang memberikan keterangan dalam bahasa Mandarin kemudiannya diterjemah ke dalam bahasa Melayu itu berkata beliau menjalankan perniagaan resort dan kontraktor pembinaan di negara ini.

Beliau berkata urusan memperoleh pasport Malaysia itu diperkenalkan oleh seorang lelaki warga Thailand yang dikenali Liwge, yang memberitahunya bahawa terdapat cara untuk membolehkannya memiliki pasport warganegara Malaysia dan bagi tujuan itu pengurus kewangannya telah memberikan bayaran RM200,000 terlebih dahulu kepada lelaki Thailand terbabit.

"Saya memberitahu Liwge, saya mahu pasport untuk tujuan pelaburan seperti yang boleh didapati di Australia dan Afrika dan saya mahu pasport tersebut (pasport Malaysia) sah di sisi undang-undang di Malaysia," katanya yang telah mempunyai dua pasport, China dan Vanuatu, Afrika, seterusnya pasport Malaysia dengan nama Ewe Chor Beng.

Wang berkata bagi urusan mendapatkan pasport itu, dia bertemu tertuduh, ahli perniagaan Lai Chin Wah pada Disember lepas.

"Pada pertemuan dengan Lai, saya telah dibawa ke sebuah hotel. Selepas itu saya di bawa ke sebuah bangunan kerajaan.

“Di sana saya dibawa ke bilik seorang pegawai di tingkat 3 dan diminta menurunkan tandatangan dalam beberapa helaian dokumen yang saya tidak ketahui isi kandungannya kerana tidak memahami tetapi saya percaya ia satu urusan yang sah dan berkaitan permohonan pasport yang ingin saya miliki," katanya yang turut mengesah dan mengecam di mahkamah, pegawai yang dimaksudkan itu ialah Mohd Faizul.

Saksi itu berkata selepas itu beliau dibawa ke tingkat lain bagi urusan cap jari dan mengambil gambar sebelum dibawa semula oleh Lai ke hotel dan selepas beberapa jam di situ, beliau ditunjukkan salinan dokumen yang mempunyai gambarnya.

Wang berkata beliau kemudian kembali ke China dan pada Februari lepas, Lai menghubunginya memaklumkan pasportnya telah siap dan beliau datang ke Pulau Pinang bertemu Lai yang menunjukkan kad pengenalan tertera gambarnya.

"Pada masa itu saya menyangka akan memperoleh pasport namun hanya sekeping kad, dan tertuduh (Lai) memberitahu saya kad ini (MyKad) diperlukan untuk membuat pasport.

“Keesokannya saya dibawa ke bangunan sama (bangunan kerajaan) untuk membuat segala urusan dan prosedur mendapatkan pasport dan kemudian pulang semula ke negara saya," katanya.

Buat lesen memandu

Wang berkata pada Mac lepas, Lai sekali lagi menghubunginya dan memaklumkan pasportnya telah siap dan beliau datang semula ke Pulau Pinang untuk mengambil pasport tersebut.

"Selepas memperoleh pasport itu pada malamnya, tertuduh (Lai) membawa saya ke Thailand dan pulang semula ke Malaysia keesokannya bagi percubaan pasport tersebut. Tiada sebarang sekatan berlaku dan urusan keluar masuk berjalan dengan lancar," katanya yang turut menyerahkan wang RM200,000 kepada Lai.

Wang berkata setelah selesai urusan pasport itu, Lai memaklumkan mahu menjalin kerjasama dengannya dalam perniagaan dan turut meminta beliau mengambil lesen memandu Malaysia dan saksi itu bersetuju dan telah menduduki peperiksaan seterusnya memperoleh lesen memandu.

Hakim Akhtar Tahir menetapkan esok untuk saksi itu menyambung keterangan.

Mohd Faizul, Mohd Faizal Tan, Yap, Loh dan Chien masing-masing mengaku tidak bersalah atas dua pertuduhan di bawah Seksyen 26E Akta Antipemerdagangan Orang dan Antipenyeludupan Migran 2007 manakala Lai turut mengaku tidak bersalah atas tiga pertuduhan mengikut seksyen yang sama.

Mohd Faizul menghadapi dua pertuduhan membuat dokumen pengenalan diri fraud iaitu sijil kelahiran dan kad pengenalan atas nama Ewe Chor Beng bagi maksud memudahkan suatu perbuatan penyeludupan migran di Ibu Pejabat JPN Negeri Pulau Pinang Bangunan Persekutuan, Jalan Anson, di George Town antara Januari hingga Februari 2019.

Fidelity places you inside a loop in time, and things are definitely not all right. Blood keeps appearing all around you. The world is breaking up like an NES game run through a Game Genie. Still, between these shifts in the world, there are some things that remain constant. If you can find those things that don’t – things that are flaws in your surroundings – you can possibly get out. Or at least get to the other room.

Fidelity offers many puzzles of increasing difficulty, which isn’t exactly surprising. What does add some element of the unexpected is the game’s random selection system, which keeps you from getting too comfortable with the puzzles and ensures you’ll always have to search to find the flaw in the world.

The game is a neat horror title, one that creates an incredible amount of discomfort in what appears to be a regular apartment.

Dollhouse, much like an actual dollhouse, is an adorable pastel game/toy that you can play around with, containing far more cool stuff than my dollhouse did.

My dollhouse contained barbies, little rugs made out of discarded rags, a lot of accessories, and of course, a handful of furniture that didn’t open up or work. However, within the game, there is so much more going on than something I could have set up at home. Exploring various rooms, you’re presented with loads of different interaction points; throwing pillows onto the floor, opening up the fridge, taking the phone off the hook. There are several points that can be clicked to bring them to life, moving them from room to room to explore on their own and be rediscovered.

Finding the little mice and clicking on them will force them to scurry along to a new room. Clicking on your robot butler will force them to start cleaning. Eventually, you might even stumble upon a little robot vacuum that you can start up. There isn’t an end goal in Dollhouse – you’re just meant to play around with whatever you want to click on, building a little story in your mind or just playing with the toys you’ve got.

I got the chance to play around with Dollhouse at EGX 2019 and had a good time with it. I enjoyed finding the mouse and just taking the time to explore such a bright, colorful scene. Within the hustle and bustle of the average event, having a game that just allowed you to relax and explore something very familiar was a great addition to the event, and it fit perfectly with the Leftfield Collection.

Tanuki Sunset pits a talented raccoon against a procedurally-generated hill, having you test your mettle against the synthwave-themed seaside road.

If you’ve ever wanted to skateboard as a raccoon in a video game, your time has come, my friend.

In this short and creative game, you’ll have to deal with the natural enemies of a road-shredding raccoon – namely, cars. You’ll have to bust our some top-of-line drifting to avoid becoming roadkill. All while racking up as many points as possible.

How does a raccoon get big points from skateboarding? This can be achieved by doing cool drifts and tricks like getting a ton of air time for a daredevil jump OVER a car. You’ll be heavily rewarded for escaping tight squeezes and near misses, too. You can also collect Tanuki Bits on your way down which will fill up a Bonus Roulette meter for even more points. I mean, it’s all about the points.

Clearly, this is a game to try for anyone who wants to help this raccoon have the time of its life. And the raccoon with the most points is the grooviest one of all. So, hop on your longboard and hit the hill.

You’ll be joining a young child who has many questions about life and what lies beyond. You might not be thrilled with the forces they’ve chosen to ask, though.

Hollow Cries sits you in a room with your queries and a Ouija board, hoping to get some answers and cure your loneliness. The good part is that, by using the device, you’ll start getting some answers! The downside is that your curiosity is kind of feeding the thing that’s replying to you, and it’s not content to just sit on the other side of reality. It wants to come visit. Naturally, this will not go well for you.

Hollow Cries works wonders with its premise, taking you on a disturbing journey from the comfort of your own bed. You’re able to glance around your room for answers about what your new, disturbing friend is up to, but the game features a distorted visual style that makes everything look a little bit off. It loans a bit of confusion and uncertainty to looking around, and makes you wonder if you caught something scary moving just out of the corner of your eye. In fact, it feels like everything is subtly moving with this effect, making reality seem like its in unsettling flux.

The payoff is some jarring scares that can come as a big surprise, which is great when you have a baby sleeping directly in the room over your head. If you need a quick fear fix, Hollow Cries can make that work for you.

PETALING JAYA: Dua Adun DAP, P Gunasekaran dan G Saminathan dihadapkan ke mahkamah atas pertuduhan keganasan di bawah Seksyen 130JB(1)(a) Kanun Keseksaan, kira-kira tiga minggu selepas mereka ditahan dalam operasi ke atas penyokong kumpulan pengganas, Harimau Pembebasan Tamil Eelam (LTTE).

Mereka merupakan antara lapan yang dihadapkan di Mahkamah Sesyen di empat negeri hari ini bagi menghadapi pertuduhan berkaitan kumpulan pengganas LTTE..

Adun Seremban Jaya, Gunasekaran dan Adun Gadek, yang juga Exco Melaka, Saminathan, dibawa ke Mahkamah Seysen Ayer Keroh pagi ini bersama ahli perniagaan, S Chandru, dalam kemunculan pertama selepas ditahan pada 10 dan 12 Okt lalu..

Gunasekaran, Saminathan dan Chandru diwakili peguam DAP yang juga Ahli Parlimen Bukit Gelugor, Ramkarpal Singh..

Veteran DAP, Lim Kit Siang dan Menteri Sumber Manusia, M Kula Segaran antara pemimpin kanan DAP yang hadir di mahkamah untuk memberi sokongan moral kepada ahli parti itu..

Tujuh individu lain dibawa ke mahkamah di Segamat, Kuala Kangsar, Sepang dan Selayang untuk berdepan pertuduhan memberi sokongan kepada LTTE atau memiliki barangan berkaitan kumpulan pengganas itu..

Hakim menolak ikat jamin bagi tiga ahli DAP itu dan mereka akan dihantar ke Penjara Sungai Buloh..

Baki lagi individu dijangka dihadapkan ke mahkamah pada Khamis..

Seramai 12 individu itu ditahan di bawah Akta Kesalahan Keselamatan (Langkah-langkah Khas) 2012 (Sosma) dan mereka antara lain didakwa cuba menghidupkan semula LTTE yang disenaraikan sebagai kumpulan pengganas di Malaysia sejak 2014..

2 didakwa di Mahkamah Sesyen Kuala Kangsar.



Dalam pada itu, seorang juruteknik S Arivainthan, 27, dan pemandu teksi V Balamurugan, 37, didakwa di Mahkamah Sesyen Kuala Kangsar atas tuduhan memberi sokongan kepada kumpulan pengganas LTTE, sejak 2014.

Bernama melaporkan, kedua-dua mereka yang berpakaian lokap warna ungu hanya mengangguk faham dan tiada pengakuan direkodkan setelah pertuduhan dibacakan di hadapan Hakim Rohaida Ishak.

Mengikut pertuduhan, Arivainthan dan Balamurugan didakwa memberi sokongan kepada LTTE pada satu majlis di Dewan Majlis Perbandaran Kuala Kangsar Cawangan Sungai Siput (Utara) antara 6.30 petang sehingga 11.45 malam, 28 Dis 2014 yang boleh dihukum mengikut Seksyen 130J(1)(a) Kanun Keseksaan.

Mengikut Seksyen 130J(1)(a) Kanun Keseksaan, tertuduh jika sabit kesalahan boleh dihukum penjara seumur hidup atau maksimum 30 tahun atau denda dan boleh dirampas mana-mana harta yang digunakan atau diniat untuk digunakan untuk melakukan kesalahan itu.

Selain itu, Balamurugan turut didakwa memiliki item berunsur perbuatan keganasan atau berkaitan LTTE dalam seunit telefon bimbit jenama Samsung Galaxy A7 di pekarangan Stesen Teksi Sungai Siput (U) kira-kira pukul 9.40 pada 10 Okt lepas.

Pertuduhan dibuat mengikut Seksyen 130JB(1)(a) Kanun Keseksaan yang jika sabit kesalahan boleh dipenjara maksimum tujuh tahun atau denda dan hendaklah juga dilucuthakkan mana-mana item tersebut.

Pemandu teksi itu juga didakwa memiliki dan mempamerkan item berunsur perbuatan keganasan atau berkaitan dengan LTTE di sebuah premis di No.52 Taman Bukit Medan, Sungai Siput (U), Perak pada pukul 9.50 pagi pada 10 Okt lepas.

Bagi kedua-dua kesalahan itu, dia didakwa mengikut Seksyen 130JB(1)(a) Kanun Keseksaan dan Seksyen 130JB(1)(b) Kanun Keseksaan yang jika sabit kesalahan boleh dipenjara maksimum tujuh tahun atau denda dan hendaklah juga dilucuthakkan mana-mana item tersebut.

Pendakwaan dikendalikan Timbalan Pendakwa Raya Aliff Asraf Anuar Sharuddin manakala Arivainthan diwakili peguam RSN Rayer sementara Balamurugan diwakili Farhan Fadzil dan Matthews Jude.

Terdahulu, barisan peguam bela memohon mahkamah membenarkan kedua-dua tertuduh diikat jamin atas alasan mereka dituduh mengikut Kanun Keseksaan yang tiada kenyataan dan izin daripada pihak pendakwa raya yang mewajibkan mahkamah menjalankan prosiding itu mengikut kaedah atau peruntukan Sosma.

Bagaimanapun mahkamah tidak membenarkan kedua-dua tertuduh diikat jamin kerana membabitkan jenayah keselamatan dan menetapkan menetapkan 28 Nov ini untuk sebutan semula kes.

Sementara di luar mahkamah, Rayer memberitahu pihaknya akan membuat rayuan berhubung isu ikat jamin anak guam mereka di Mahkamah Tinggi Ipoh selewat-lewatnya esok.

Rayer memberitahu FMT, kedua-duanya didakwa menyertai satu upacara menyokong LTTE di Sungai Siput pada 28 Dis 2014.

“Saya berhujah dakwaan terhadap mereka tidak jelas dan ikat jamin perlu ditawarkan.”

Bagaimanapun, katanya, pihak pendakwaan meminta hakim tidak membenarkan ikat jamin kerana mereka ditahan di bawah Sosma.

Penghantar surat didakwa di Segamat

Sementara itu, seorang penghantar surat didakwa di Mahkamah Sesyen Segamat atas pertuduhan memiliki item berunsur perbuatan keganasan atau berkaitan dengan LTTE.

S Teran, 38, yang bekerja di sebuah pejabat peguam di Segamat memahami pertuduhan yang dibacakan terhadapnya dalam bahasa Melayu di hadapan Hakim Rasidah Roslee.

Tertuduh yang masih bujang dan bakal melangsungkan perkahwinan pada Dis ini didakwa melakukan perbuatan itu di alamat 10M, Jalan Genuang, Kampung Paya Pulai, Segamat, kira-kira 6.30 petang, 10 Okt lepas.

Peguam A Mathan memohon mahkamah membenarkan jaminan diberikan kepada Teran dengan alasan tertuduh mengalami masalah tulang belakang.

Tertuduh, katanya, menjalani rawatan akibat sakit itu pada 25 Julai lepas dan kini memerlukan rawatan susulan.

Rasidah dalam penghakimannya berkata, permohonan tertuduh untuk diberikan jaminan tidak dipertimbangkan sehingga dia mengemukakan laporan perubatan lengkap bagi diteliti mahkamah.

Mahkamah kemudian menetapkan 18 Nov ini untuk pengurusan kes bagi meneliti laporan perubatan tersebut dan laporan pakar forensik.

Presiden Umno Ahmad Zahid Hamidi yang ada disebelahnya ketika dia berucap itu juga berumur 66 tahun? Dan akan menjadi 67 tahun, tahun depan?

Kita boleh saja berbeza pendapat atau tidak bersetuju dengan pandangan pihak tertentu, namun semasa menguruskannya, fakta mesti diutamakan semasa berhujah.

Pengerusi Perhubungan Umno Johor Hasni Mohammed mengulas usia calon Bersatu bagi pilihan raya kecil parlimen Tanjung Piai. 

"Calon mereka saya kira 66 tahun, tahun depan 67 tahun saya harap kita tiada PRK lagi. Penat PRK ni," katanya. 

Beliau bercakap pada majlis pelancaran jentera BN untuk pilihan raya kecil itu hari ini.
Kerusi parlimen Tanjung Piai kosong susulan penyandangnya bekas timbalan menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri Dr Md Farid Md Rafik meninggal dunia.

BN dijadualkan mengumumkan calonnya pada hari ini. Bagaimanapun, Hasni berkata pengumuman itu tidak akan dibuat pada hari ini (semalam) 

"Sepatutnya, kita juga namakan calon, sebelah sana tertipu dengan kita. Dia nak umumkan 30 hari bulan (Okt) tetapi bila dia kata nak dia umum dulu pukul 2 petang (tadi). 

"Jadi dia tertewas kita takkan umum hari ini," kata Hasni.

Anwar Ibrahim sememangnya tidak memerlukan sokongan PAS untuk diangkat sebagai perdana menteri kelapan selepas kesemua ahli Parlimen parti Islam itu sebulat suara memberi sokongan terbuka kepada pimpinan Dr Mahathir Mohamad untuk menerajui Putrajaya sehingga habis penggal, kata penganalisis.

Hal ini kerana, kedua-dua pihak antara presiden PKR itu dan PAS mempunyai hubungan berbentuk ‘mutual hatred’ iaitu sikap saling membenci dan tidak memerlukan satu sama lain.

“Anwar sendiri tidak memerlukan sokongan PAS untuk menjadi perdana menteri kerana beliau sudah mempunyai sokongan mencukupi daripada PH (Pakatan Harapan) selaras dengan muafakat dalaman antara pemimpin PH,” kata Kamarul Zaman Yusof ketika dihubungi.

Tambah beliau, walau apa pun yang dibuat oleh Anwar untuk memenangi hati PAS tidak akan berjaya kerana ia dilihat berpendirian untuk tidak menyokong beliau.

“Ini kerana pendirian Anwar mengenai isu agama dan kebangsaan terlalu jauh berbeza dengan pendirian PAS.

“Tambahan pula kenaikan Anwar sebagai perdana menteri adalah bergantung kepada sokongan DAP, dan tidak ada jalan untuk PAS menerima DAP,” katanya.

Minggu lalu, enam ahli Parlimen BN dan kesemua 16 ahli Parlimen PAS tampil memberi sokongan agar Mahathir meneruskan mandat sebagai perdana menteri sehingga pilihan raya umum seterusnya.

Mereka dilaporkan berkata peralihan kuasa tidak membawa sebarang manfaat kepada negara.

Sementara itu, Mohamed Mustafa Ishak turut berpandangan sama dengan mengatakan PAS masih meragui keupayaan Anwar untuk mengawal DAP dalam kerajaannya nanti.

“Atau barangkali ia adalah satu pendirian yang telah ditetapkan oleh PAS sendiri. Justeru, Anwar perlu terus berusaha memujuk PAS sekiranya sokongan PAS diperlukan olehnya,” kata beliau.

Bagaimanapun, Mohamed Mustafa tidak menolak kemungkinan PAS bersikap sedemikian kerana tersinggung dengan tuduhan oleh Anwar terhadap parti itu, terutamanya melibatkan dakwaan PAS pernah menerima dana RM90 juta dari Umno.

“PAS mungkin amat tersinggung dan kecewa dengan tuduhan yang dibuat itu,” katanya merujuk kepada dakwaan Anwar, yang juga ahli Parlimen Port Dickson dalam sebuah forum di Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, pada April lalu, mendakwa mengetahui jumlah dana yang diterima pemimpin PAS dan identiti penerima serta akan mendedahkannya dalam masa terdekat.

Dakwaan itu disambut Presiden PAS Abdul Hadi Awang yang meminta Anwar mendedahkan identiti pemimpin PAS yang didakwa menerima dana 1MDB, hasil pemberian Umno.

Following the success of terrifying side-scroller, The Coma, a new iteration has arrived. Controlling Mina Park, you will have to firstly navigate a school that seems possessed with something nightmarish. If the atmosphere isn’t enough to get your blood crawling, perhaps a sinister teacher stalking you will.

The terror doesn’t just live within the school, either. Once you’ve found a way out, you’ll find the whole district filled with danger. If you’re a particularly stealth-savvy adventurer, you may want to delve deep into the dark corners of the district and uncover its sinister secrets. Those who check every crevice will be rewarded with materials they can use to craft items that may save them in a pinch.

Unlike most horror games, you won’t be able to just heal away the pain from certain afflictions, too. Some encounters, if you aren’t prepared, will dole out permanent injuries (or even death). Those who are prepared will be the ones that will survive this nightmare and live to see another day.

NUTS is a pretty straightforward game. You’re in a surreal green, yellow, and orange world, tracking squirrels who leave a tree at night and move towards a watering hole.

That’s an easy concept, but if you’re like me, you have never tracked an animal before. This is a painstakingly slow task; set up your three cameras, go back to your cabin, go to sleep, wake up, analyse the footage, move the cameras, adjust the angle, go back to your cabin, sleep. This is basically what you’re doing throughout the game.

There are other objects in your cabin like cans of food, some light cooking supplies, random note papers, and a fax machine/printer. You have a phone that your boss uses to tell you about your mission. This mission is odd: just watch squirrels. There is always this looming feeling that something else is going to happen – something else is going to take over and spin the game in a new direction.

In my small time with NUTS, at EGX 2019, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something more was going to happen. I kept setting up my cameras, watching the squirrel, and wondering at what point I’d figure out where it went. Watching the footage back on TV screens the next morning was simple enough, though I did struggle with putting out cameras often. 

You do have a little mini-map which shows the paths you’ve walked and the angle you’re facing, as well as where the squirrel is coming out from. This helps a lot when it comes to placing the cameras, but maybe it would have made more sense to place the three further apart then I did. Despite having some camera issues of my own, I started to really enjoy NUTS. The task started to become fun, even if I couldn’t shake the feeling that something else might be going on.

We head out to a cabin in the woods for some exorcising shenanigans in this week’s IGP First Look, enduring the disturbing things that lurk within the broken halls of FAITH.

Not that you can just waltz up to a haunted cabin. There’s a gloomy wood you have to guide our priestly protagonist through, and it’s far from a relaxing walk between the pines. Which we found out with a lovely surprise more than once while galavanting around. There are a lot of overly-excitable creatures in FAITH, and you can expect them to sneak up on you often.

It’s when they strike that the game gives way to some incredible animations. The switch between ZX-Spectrum visuals and smooth, flowing, monstrous animations loans each scare with a heart-stopping reality. These moments seem hyper-realistic within this blocky setting, as if there has been no moment in your life that was more meaningful than this one. It grasps your mind and won’t let go. It’s an awe-inspiring set of scares each time it happens.

Combining all of this with a slow-boil story of botched exorcisms within a gloomy house, accompanied by chilling music and equally-chilling silence, makes for a frightening night spent within the decaying home. Just don’t let yourself get lulled into complacency as you explore like I often did, as the developers excel at finding when you feel safe and scaring you in that moment. While I found the woods section at the start to be a bit too long and confusing, everything else makes for taut horror that you definitely need to play this Halloween season.

You expect to just talk about some things with a digital friend when you booth the program up, but SHARED_ANXIETIES_WITH_A_FRIEND_ON_YOUR_BIRTHDAY creates this incredible, disarming comfort with the creature’s appearance, voice, and nuanced take on sharing your problems with a friend. It teaches so much about how to help one another effectively, how to care for another’s needs, and how sharing together can heal you both. Stunningly lovely and deeply thoughtful, as is all of alienmelon‘s work.

Interactive bits of art always provide a relaxing experience, especially as they play out, showcasing an intriguing creation. Monad is what I’d call interactive art, but almost breathing and living artwork that you can play with.

On a large black background, you can basically place dots on the screen that start pulsing and coming to life like splashes on water. There is a slider to one side which seems to change the size of the dots you place. The circle continues moving and shifting while you watch, allowing you to create some very interesting art. You can, of course, clear it all away and start again with a black background. If you are clicking on black, you’ll make a white circle and if you’re clicking on white, you’ll make a black circle to contrast whatever is behind it.

There isn’t any score or end goal – instead, Monad just has you creating something interesting to watch. I got the chance to play around with it over at EGX 2019, and watching from behind people and seeing what they made of the game was art in itself. Having games with no goals and no score to achieve is super relaxing, especially as the game comes to life, just begging to be watched and tapped so that you can make your own little experience.

The game is stated to be best played in a dark room, on a large projector to get the full experience, but I found Monad just as captivating within the loud, busy venue, drawn over to the strange movements of the circles that were being displayed on the screen.

Ahli Parlimen Jelutong mewakili DAP RSN Rayer hari ini membidas ahli Parlimen PAS dan Umno yang menyuarakan sokongan supaya Dr Mahathir Mohamad menyempurnakan tempoh lima tahun jawatan beliau sebagai perdana menteri dengan berkata, kemungkinan wujud tujuan serong lain yang sedang direncanakan.

Dalam satu kenyataan, Rayer berkata, kemungkinan terdapat “rancangan jahat” untuk menimbulkan pergeseran antara Mahathir dengan bakal pengganti beliau, Anwar Ibrahim.

“Saya juga mengesyaki bahawa perisytiharan sokongan ini bertujuan menggugat perpaduan dalam Pakatan Harapan (PH) dengan melaga-lagakan Mahathir dengan Anwar dan sebaliknya,” kata beliau.

“Kita mesti mengingatkan diri sendiri bahawa peralihan jawatan perdana menteri telah dibincangkan dan dipersetujui antara Mahathir dan Anwar.

“Saya percaya apabila tiba waktunya, akan berlaku peralihan yang lancar dan Anwar dilantik sebagai perdana menteri kelapan.”

Ahli Parlimen Umno, iaitu Mohd Shahran Abdullah (Paya Besar), Mastura Mohd Yazid (Kuala Kangsar), Ahmad Nazlan Idris (Jerantut), Adham Baba (Tenggara), Ismail Abdul Mutalib (Maran) dan Abdul Rahman Mohamad (Lipis) membuat perisytiharan menyokong Mahathir di lobi Parlimen semalam.

Mereka berkata, mereka menyokong gesaan Timbalan Presiden PKR Mohamed Azmin Ali supaya Mahathir kekal mengetuai kerajaan sehingga tamat penggal kerana negara tidak akan mendapat kelebihan sekiranya berlaku peralihan kuasa.

Dalam pada itu, Setiausaha Agung PAS Takiyuddin Hassan berkata di Dewan Rakyat, “jika berlaku sesuatu”, kesemua 18 ahli Parlimen parti itu akan menyokong Mahathir.

Rayer bagaimanapun berkata, gabungan PH dibentuk sebelum pilhan raya umum ke-14 lepas dan akan kekal utuh sama ada “dengan sokongan ahli Parlimen Umno dan PAS atau sebaliknya”.
