Forget Me Not: My Organic Garden was one of the most visually appealing games I saw at BitSummit. The thick white outlines caught my attention first, followed by the brightly colored fruits. Imagine my surprise when developer CAVYHOUSE told me that the things growing on the trees were stomachs, hearts, livers, and the like.
This is an incremental game, but it's one with a beginning, a middle, and an end. There's a story that unfolds throughout the game around the main character, Organa, who is working as an apprentice to Irene, the village's resident organ grower. The story proceeds as the player completes quests, filling out the villagers' special orders.
Forget Me Not: My Organic Garden is available in English onlyvia Playism at the moment and costs $9.99 for Windows and Mac. Playism has a tendency to help get the games they localize on Steam after a period of exclusivity, so it may make it there later. CAVYHOUSE'S previous game, This Starry Midnight We Make, is available on Steam right now.
