With a dual-core CPU, the DS416j delivers high performance and exceeds 112 MB/sec reading and 101 MB/sec writing, under RAID 5 configuration in a Windows environment. Compared to its predecessor, it has a 37 percent increase in writing speeds. Additionally, the built-in floating-point unit (FPU) also enhances the overall capability of the main CPU, and users can generate photo thumbnails faster. Equipped with a USB 3.0 port, the DS416j can connect to external hard drives and other devices for high speed transmission of media content and personal files.
