Cheap Golf. The mind simply races with possibilities with a title like that. Still, Pixeljam, makers of Potatoman Seeks the Troof (otherwise known as the game with the best trailer, ever, don't argue unless you want knuckles in your noodle), perpetually have my attention.
That they called it "a shotgun marriage of low-poly mini golf and surreal humor" didn't hurt, though.
Cheap Golf is a simple golf game. You whack the ball, it shoots through teleporters, dodges crushing traps, and slips through dimensions that ask you odd personal questions but ignores your answers, before dropping in the hole. Simple golf, right? That silliness promises sports fans will be scratching their heads as they play, and I'll somehow get dragged into playing a golf game because I appreciate anything that makes me question my mental state.
Expect probing questions, broken fourth walls, bizarre occurrences, and solid, low-poly puzzle-like golf from Cheap Golf when it releases.
