Because of constant changes of temperature when it’s hot during day and cold every morning, most of the illness children encounter is related to respiratory. Colds, cough and asthma are common today. If only our kids would love to eat papaya, they could be shield with its rich in vitamin C.
During typhoons, papaya is just so common in the place because it was just scattered all over the places. They said the greener the papaya the better though we like more to eat the ripening fruit. In rural areas it just common to ask and pick papaya fruit for their dishes. But because of abundance, it is not always present in the meal of the family here.

But papaya is not only rich in vitamin C because it is also the good source of vitamin E, carotenes, fiber and folic acid as good antioxidants. Of course, when we say antioxidants, we are talking the prevention of colon cancer and cardiovascular diseases. Besides, papaya is also good against diabetes and heart diseases.
The fiber lowers our cholesterol and the folic acid is a good thing for amino acid that helps to protect our blood vessels.
