Forward to the Sky highlights one of the things I want in real life but can't have that exists video games -- giant mysterious structures that float on their own. In contrast, I don't know if I'd be all about the puzzles and the immediate threat to my life in real life, but I'm looking forward to them in this Greenlight-hopeful game. It's all about compromise, I guess.
It seems humanity can't leave well enough alone, in reality or fiction. The fine folks in Forward to the Sky have access to a giant sky tower, so like humanity does, they mine the hell out of it for crystals. Of course, some sort of disaster occurs and the giant tower fades from view and memory. The towers reemergence is where your part in this 3D puzzle-platformer begins.
The developers are promising a relaxing mood, six levels to complete and discovery at the top of the tower, should you be able to forge a path that high. As mentioned before, it's up on Steam Greenlight now. It's being made for Windows, Mac and Linux, though no release date is yet in sight.
