Cartoon quality graphics, four player local co-op, gangsters, zombies, outrageous, frantic run-and-gun gameplay and a weird sense of humour always sounded like a lovely set of elements to combine into a single game, but we never really knew. Not until Guns, Gore & Cannoli found its way on Steam for Windows and Mac and reminded us what an awfully good time can be had with a brawler, while proving the above point beyond all reasonable doubt.
So, yes, Guns, Gore & Cannoli is a great game indeed. It is polished, well-designed, action-packed and very, very fun.
It also is a wonderfully illustrated game, sporting some excellent hand drawn graphics and animations that manage to convey the Prohibition era atmosphere in the most vibrant of ways. Just have a look at the trailer:
