You may remember Atomhead's eyeball-blasting, musically-driven shmup Hyperspace Invaders II from back in April, but the developer's still been hard at work tweaking and improving the game for its Steam release. The Pixel Edition of the game has brought new levels (at even more absurd beats per minute), new songs, a retro mode, and a complete graphical overhaul to make it worth its new asking price. If you're curious about how you'd make a game that makes people want to blast enemy ships and dance at the same time, it's one to look in on.
Hyperspace Invaders II: Pixel Edition is available for $4.99 on Steam. For more information on the game and Atomhead, you can head to the game's site, the developer's site, or follow them on Facebook, YouTube, and Google +.
