I do enjoy simple turn-based battles in the time honoured tradition of Advance Wars and having just spent some time on the Ground Breakers early access, I can safely say that I did enjoy its tactical antics and am pretty certain most genre lovers will also appreciate its charms and variations on the tactical turn based mechanics. Ground Breakers, besides featuring 5 v. 5 battles and procedural combat maps, you see, innovates by featuring dynamic, constantly changing battlefields, a crafting system and highly customizable unique units. Of course, what with the game still being in early access, there are things that need polishing and features that haven't been added yet, but Ground Breakers is already highly playable. Oh, and it won't be long until it properly launches.
The Ground Breakers Early Access by United Indie is available on Steam for Windows, Mac and Linux.
