You can’t go to the museum, hang out in an old mansion, or even go out for a pizza in peace in this series of choose-your-own-adventure stories.
A Series of Choose Your Own Adventure Stories Where No Matter What You Choose You Are Immediately Killed by a Werewolf pretty much explains all you need to know in the title. You’re out to try to make the right choices while working your way through some nice interactive fiction about exploring museums and pizza parlors, but making the wrong choice will get you killed by a werewolf.
Shocking twist: they are all wrong answers. Almost nothing you do in this game will not get you killed by a werewolf. You can’t even just go to an exhibit without a werewolf ruining all of the potential education you were going to get about ancient Egypt. They’ll just swoop in and lop your head off, as seen above. At least it’s always completely ridiculous when they show up, making for some fun deaths. Plus, you don’t end up working your way through a two-hundred-page book, only to die from one wrong page flip. At least death comes quickly.
A Series of Choose Your Own Adventure Stories Where No Matter What You Choose You Are Immediately Killed by a Werewolf is completely absurd and ridiculous, making for a delightful good time for anyone who’s spent ages flipping through the pages of those Fighting Fantasy books.
A Series of Choose Your Own Adventure Stories Where No Matter What You Choose You Are Immediately Killed by a Werewolf is playable now on itch.io.
