Halloween party ideas 2015

The cyberpunk resurgence continues this year, with the neon-tinged isometric shooter Lithium City. As a well-trained female warrior skilled with both fist and firearms, you ascend randomly-generated levels to annihilate robotic guards with precise shots, powerful melee, and judicious use of slow motion dashes.

Developed by Nico Tuason (of flash dash-n-slash Dojo of Death fame), Lithium City is inspired by the hectic action of Hotline Miami, and the cyberpunk styling of Ghost in the Shell and Tron. Wielding an arsenal of SMGs , rifles, katanas, and more, you clear towering skyscrapers floor-by-floor, leaving shattered battle droids in your wake.

Perhaps the most compelling aspect is Lithium City's aesthetic: glass layouts high about sprawling cityscapes lit by windows and headlights, as minimalist enemies crumble into black shards under the power of your neon projectiles.

Lithium City is expected to release in late 2016, on PC and Mac. You can vote for the game on Steam Greenlight, and learn about Lithium City and developer Nico Tuason on the game's site, its TIGSource devlog, Twitter, and Youtube.
